Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with Mooncakes, Tea & Chi at the Chinese American Museum, DC (CAMDC) on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Watch online or join in person. This is a hybrid event as part of the Mid-Autumn Festival Community Day at CAMDC.
Hear memories, stories, and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Jon Chung, owner of bang’n you bakery, will give us the details on all things MOONCAKES, the Mid-Autumn Festival’s most beloved treat. Yinong Chong, wellness and tai chi coach, will explore the chi of the seasons and give insights for the perfect cup of tea to pair with your festival mooncake and change of the autumn moon.
If you are in the Washington, DC area, join in person from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday, September 10 for the Mid-Autumn Festival Community Day at CAMDC. If you cannot join in person, celebrate by registering for the Mooncakes, Tea & Chi online festivities from 2 pm – 3 pm ET (11am – 12 pm PT).
