Enjoy a day of entertainment, savor a variety of Portuguese foods and watch a traditional Portuguese parade – there’s enjoyment for the entire family. It all takes place at History Park, location of both the Portuguese Historical Museum and the Chinese American Historical Museum.

Many of us may not be aware of the joint histories of the Portuguese and the Chinese:

  • The name Canton originally came from a Portuguese language rendering of Guangzhou.
  • The Portuguese Historical Museum has a permanent Macao Exhibit.
