This film is in Cantonese, with English and Chinese subtitles, and was filmed in Taishan, China with local Taishanese actors.

Originally premiered November 2023 in China, the director, Li Weinian, is bringing this movie to the Chinese American audience who may be able to identify with the characters in his storyline, with the underlying themes of family separation, immigration, cultural heritage, and love. Based on historical fiction, it is a visually stunning work of cinematic art, telling of an elderly man from Taishan bringing his American-born grandson back to his ancestral hometown. Watch the film's trailer.
