AIISF Poetry Reading: "Alien Miss: Carlina Duan and the Last Hoisan Poets"

Experience the poems of Angel Island come alive through the words of poets Carlina Duan, Genny Lim and Nellie Wong on July 26th at 12:00 pm, hosted by the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation (AIISF).

Carlina Duan, accomplished poet and author, will be reading selections from her work Alien Miss alongside debuting new work. Genny Lim and Nellie Wong, members of the Last Hoisan Poets, will be reading selections of their work alongside guzheng accompaniment.

There will be one performance at 12:00 pm on July 26th. The performance is included in your $5 admission to the Detention Barracks Museum.
