The Chinese Cultural Garden in Overfelt Gardens Park needs our immediate support. This garden, a cherished symbol of our heritage and unity, has suffered severe deterioration over the years due to weather, lack of maintenance, and recent vandalism. Without immediate action, we risk losing this invaluable landmark that embodies the spirit and contributions of our community.
Established in the 1970s with generous contributions from the Chinese American community and the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the garden has served as a cultural sanctuary, a place of learning, and a bridge of friendship between the East and the West. Today, we must unite once more to restore, revitalize, and protect this historical treasure for future generations.
The Sino American Historical Foundation (SAHF)'s Chinese Cultural Garden Restoration Project is now underway, but they cannot accomplish this mission alone. Please join them at their Fundraising Gala Dinner on Sunday November 9 at the Crowne Plaza in Foster City to support this project.

They also welcome donations—big or small—to help fund the restoration of the garden's key landmarks, including Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Friendship Gate, the Chiang Kai-shek Pavilion, and the Confucius Statue.
