There will be many activities to celebrate the New Year, including Lion Dancers.

11 am to 2 pm - Fukubukuro (lucky bag)
Stores prepare special mystery bags for the New Year. Each bag is filled with a surprise selection of items chosen by the store. Often, the items inside add up to more than the price of the bag. The bags are sealed, so you don't know exactly what's inside, making it a fun way to discover new favorites while supporting local businesses.
