CPAA Lantern Festival

Celebrate with the Chinese Performing Arts of America (CPAA) at their Lantern Festival at the CPAA Arts Center. The Lantern Festival (元宵节) is usually celebrated on the 15th day of the first lunar month, which is the first full moon of the lunar year.

Hosted by their youth leaders of AACYC (Asian Arts & Culture Youth Committee) of high school and middle school students, this community celebration will include:

• Arts & cultural performances
• Free tea & tangyuan (tangyuan symbolize unity and completeness)
• Kid-friendly arts & crafts stations
• Raffle prizes supporting CPAA

Free admission. Donations at activity stations are warmly appreciated.
