CHSA Film Screening: Chinese in Napa Valley

The Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) is excited to welcome back author John McCormick and filmmaker Jeff Hamilton for a screening of the documentary Chinese in Napa Valley, based on McCormick's book that sheds light on the Chinese workers, who in the late 19th century, played a central role in Napa Valley’s vineyards, farms, railroads, and local businesses, yet were largely written out of its history.

Join CHSA for a viewing of this film and an in-depth discussion with McCormick, Hamilton, and CHCP Advisory Board Member/Historian Connie Young Yu. This screening offers a special early opportunity to see the film before its wider release.
